No Information 3.2.b Percentage Inmates Receiving MOUD/MAUD

What This Graph Tells Us

This graph shows us the percentage of inmates receiving Medications for Opioid Use Disorder or Medications for Alcohol Use Disorder while in Skagit County custody. All inmates are offered MOUD and MAUD, but they are not required to take the medication. Skagit County recently transitioned to a new medical provider in the jail, so data collection is being used to develop a baseline target.

Why This Measure Matters

Many individuals in the Skagit County Community Justice Center have Opioid Use Disorder or Alcohol Use Disorder. Initiating MOUD/MAUD while they’re in custody, and then connecting them with outside providers at release, can help individuals enter into recovery.
